#2 COMPLICATIONS

So far we haven't had any comlications. Except for one, wich is an important part of making our game, FLASH! But, that is mostly it. Our game had made alot of progress. So im proud of us !

spring break :)

Well now i'm only one week behind...yay. Last week we were on spring break, so we didn't do anything. But, it was pretty fun...hey, a week off of school is always good! :)

These past few weeks I have been behind, so I am blogging about my complications in this class two weeks ago. We were working on our game demo, so CODE was the worst part. We had to get our judge to walk around the screen. Well, you could make him move around the screen with the arrow keys. Its pretty cool, go check it out.

adding animations, (:

today we read adding animations. & it said we had to blog on what we read. we can't add animations to our ddem because our lovely peers decided to delete ours :( & our great friend mitch decided to name his demo.swf too...unfortunately, that was the last part of it that we had...and he deleted it!(accident) we were very angry at him....we just now found the link to it :) and thats all we had of it, so now we have an idea of what to do when we RE-DO it.

Today, well the past week(s) we have been working on our demo file. It is finally finished and almost uploadedd! We were finished first, but I didnt have time to upload it yesterday, so dakota ans sam got theirs uploaded first :( so sad! ohh well.....but ive got to finish this....see ya next week! :)

this week, we  are working on flash. Its about code time again. Today, we are doing our intro screen, team introduction, audience, gameplay, learning goal, fun factor, smart factor, style factor, and origignality factor in flash. So far, we are on the fun factor. It's Alyssa's turn! :) well, im gona get back to work now.

Make up blog! Againn"/. Well from  my last blog, you can tell what's going on with the testing deal, but I forgot to include they should be finish testing tomorrow. So on monday, hopefully we can get back in the lab. And start working again. This has made our class a little behind. But mrs. Paynter has been showing us videos of what we are going to be doing, so we basicly have an idea of what were in for. But I guess thats all for this blog....sooooo!

Today, we are making up blogs. This is due to the West Virginia writes testing. So we have not been in the lab. I thought I blogged lastweek, but apparently it did not save. So I have to re-do it, again. But we have been working on our paper prototyping lately. The whole class is finished drawing, and videoing. They are on our wiki team pages, and ready to go. Wellllllll, today hasn't been a good day so far. I am severely sick, and do not feel good at all, but in class we are working on our paper prototyping. Well we were, Alyssa and i finished ad videod ours today. So mitchell is going to upload it onto our wiki for us. I think he is doing this now. I am sorta hoarse, so the video might be a little hard to understand, but you'll know what to do. It is just like any other game, except for the new and never used unique ideas. Other than that during class, we are not doing anything else. Until tomorrow anyways, Mrs.paynter said we had to blog today(thursday) instead of tomorrow because we are starting a new assignment and we wont have time...well I guess that's all for this week...

mAkEuP bLoG :)

Well we did not have school on Friday due to snow, so were making up our blogs today. I really don't know what to write about, so i'll just talk about what we are doing. Weve been working on our team pages, and fixing them so that they will be presentable to the people who are watching over us. As of right now Mrs.Paynter says that they are not up to her expectations yet, and until they are we will not be working on anything else until we do so. I think Alyssa's and mine are pretty okay but they probably need some work done to them. What doesn't need improving ? Well, I guess thats all for this weeks blog. See ya' again next Friday.

Our team includes Alyssa, and I. By the way i'm Joci if you didn't already know. lol My role in our game is basicly thinking up most of the ideas, and Alyssa is better at editing pictures, and usig flash so she is the graphic editor. I have no idea if thats the right name for that positio, so it sounds good and were just goin' with it. :) up in the picture Alyssa is on the left, and i'm on the right. Working in a team helps alot, i'm really looking forward to it because some things on computers are harder to do for me, but Alyssa is great at most ofthem. We worked out perfectly in the team colaborating, we kind of think the same way...on some stuff. (not all) Though sometimes we have conflicts about what to do on a part of the game. Nothing major though. Well, I guess thats all to tell about us right now. See ya again on Friday ! :)

Paper prototype :)

   Well today is Friday and we have to blog, so I'm going to talk about what we are doing in class this week, and that's paper prototyping. It's a little hard at times but really easy at others. All you have to do is write what is going to be on your game. I think our game is going to be really fun, and extremely hard to make. I really hope we don't have a certain date by when we have to have it completed. We probably will though, my luck "/. Well i'm going to start on my team page.

   Today is the sixth of January 2011, I have to blog today about anything. So, I am going to post about my thoughts and feelings right now about this class. Some difficulties are making the game. It was very hard to make the mini game in flash. I am guessing it is going to be alot harder to make a full game without having codes to copy and paste. the easy part is really the rest of it, nothing is actually hard about this class. I really like it. Sometimes i get a little aggravated withthe computers being slow, but thats about it. Well, I don't know anything else to say about the class right now. So i guess I'll blog again next week.
